Refund policy

No Returns on Outfits bought on hand , kindly take note , we have a high demand of Outfits so no exchange or refund once you have bought it.

Please note : The Dress is exactly the same as the picture and only color will slightly differ (10-15 %) due to photo shoot techniques used and different lighting as well as enhancement used during the photo-shoot thus we will not be able to refund nor exchange as the dress is not faulty or damaged in any anyway , It is Original and branded in its form !

  • * Outfits will only be exchanged or returned , if the dress is faulty or damaged or if it is completely different from the picture - which is the design of the dress and the color



We will not release payment without reflecting into our account.

If your payment takes longer to reflect ( nothing that we can do ) we will only release outfits when it has reflected into our account 


Kurti Dresses.  

No Exchange or Refund on Kurtis after 3 Days of Purchase

If you have selected the wrong size , we can exchange it with the correct size but only within 3 days of receiving your dress.

Please go one size up once you have measured as cuts are small.

Kindly note that Kurti Dresses or any Ready-made Dress come a Standard Sizing , they are not Stitched to ones specific size , you might need to do alterations once you receive it. 

Kurtis have 2 inch of margin given inside the dress for alterations. 1 Inch on both sides 

Length wise : Kurti Dresses are around 50+- inches long

If your Kurti Turns out defective: (Based on the situation )

We can gladly exchange it for you with the same kurti / similar ( in the same price range - if the price is higher , a difference has to be paid )

Please do not return your item to the Manufacturer, this is our issue to solve out with them

If the price is less , a credit voucher will be issued to you , no refunds on the balance amount will be given in cash nor EFT. If you want your balance to refunded into your account a processing fee and refund fee will be applicable as these charges come from third party companies and not charged by Indian Dress House

If part of your order was shipped and the other did not arrive due to unforeseen circumstances ( no refund will be given , yes we can exchange it for you with something on hand )

If you have ordered 6 Kurtis and you Received 5 Kurtis , if 1 turned out defective ( depending on your order ) we can exchange or refund on your defective piece - this does comes with exceptions . 

If your last kurti was free , and decide to take the refund , you will not receive your last free kurti as this promotion is bought together and not single.

No Cash / EFT Refund for any leftover credit , any leftover credit will be processed into a voucher that you can use on your next purchase.


You can replace your damaged kurti with another kurti and your last free one will be shipped together ( no extra courier is charged - this does depend on certain situations) 


  • Items Bought from - Stock Immediately Available on Hand




If you have secured your outfits' that is available immediately on hand - with a 50% deposit , NO exchanging it with another dress on hand or a fee will be deducted off your deposit amount.

Online Orders placed on Items Available Immediately on Hand, we will only hold your order for 2 days after that your order will be Cancelled as due to high demand of stock , we are unable to hold Outfits for Long without payment - Please Take Note !

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Dress with obvious signs that it has been used or has been sewed or treated unfairly , a refund will not be processed but rather sent back to you,
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error , no refund will be give it

Refunds (if applicable)

If you cancel your order within 12 - 24 Hour once it has been placed , a full refund will be processed - a refund fee will be deducted off by our payment gateway and will be refunded directly into your account/ card

If your order is cancelled after 24 hours , a payment fee will be deducted off your refund and a refund fee will be processed.

Please note this is applicable if the Outfit is available and you have cancelled on your side for any given reason.

This also applies if the Outfit is available but due to time wise it is being delayed because of Customs , weather conditions or Covid - a payment fee is applicable.

  • If your shipment is stolen from our Warehouse or Courier Warehouse, we will replace your Order only. There will be no refunds. Or if it was lost in transit, No Refunds , Replacements will be made. If you insist on the refund , whatever the Insurance companies pay out , it will calculated accordingly and you will be refunded. ( Please Note , We do not give any Guarantee on Full Refunds )
  • Please do not use third party email address such as friends or family to email us- on your behalf, any emails coming in from friends or family that you have “CC OR BBC” – we will respond to them as emails are coming from them and you have added them,IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF PAYMENT GOING INTO THEIR ACCOUNT, WE WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR LOSS.
  • Any Legal Action that is taken on our Company that is not ruled out correctly, we will take legal action as well and any loss occurred to Indian Dress House, customer will be held liable for any occurred costs such as lawyer fees, transport and any damage costs.

Returning Your Outfit
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed deducting off shipping fee, and within 15 - 25 business working days , your money will be refunded into your account once your item has been approved and your banking details will be asked once your item has been approved, in order to refund or you will be refunded in the payment method that you have used.

Please note you have 7 days to return your outfit once you have contacted us and after you have received a response from us, fail to return your outfit to the given address on time , then we unfortunately will not be able to exchange it for you or refund you as designs get old and this is part of company's policy.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded nor exchanged.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged on regular priced items not on Clearance Sale. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and further instructions will be given.

Exchanges is only eligible within 3 days of purchase. After 3 days has gone by we unfortunately will not be able to exchange any dress with any other dress.

To return your product, please Email Us so we can provide address for item to be returned.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Once your order has arrived In Store / On Hand

Please note ! 

Your order will only stay with us for 2 month after your 50% deposit has been paid , should you not pay your balance within 2 month , your order will be sent back to our supplier and so your 50 % deposit will not be returned back to you or your dress will be sold to cover the loss occurred.

  • Whether you order online on our website or through WhatsApp,  an order is an order.
  • Without a min payment of 50% deposit, your order will not be placed. The 50% deposit confirms your order !
  • Due to any Reasons/ Circumstances - ( Strong Valid Reason ), if you do not take your dress  within a month and would like a refund after your 50% deposit is paid and your dress has ARRIVED in SA , *A SHIPPING FEE WILL BE DEDUCTED OFF YOUR DEPOSIT , AND THE REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE REFUNDED TO YOU*


Lay-by Policy: 

Please note : 

A minimum of 30% deposit is required to secure your an Outfit for your event.

Depending on how many months you want to go - up to 6 months ( NO INTEREST) 

No exchanging of dress once 1 months have gone passed - exchanging of dress within 1 months will result in an extra fee for exchanging .

Exchange after 1 months will not be possible due to new designs always coming out.

Payment plans

Payment needs to be up to date or notify us if any delay.
If you have failed to pay after 3 months, we will notify you immediately , should  you wish to terminate your lay-by we will deduct a handling fee for holding your outfit for you and the remaining balance will be refunded to you within 7 working days and the lay-by policy will be cancelled
Resulting in both parties having no agreement at all

Please note that this is very important and this is strictly a company's policy - Indian Dress House that needs to be adhered to due to one of the main following reasons : 

  • We cannot hold outfits for too long as we have a lot of demand in outfits so holding an outfit for too long can result in design being old and that a person is not able to purchase their desired design as it has been taken by someone on lay-by. Which then results in one not having their desired outfit and the Lay-by Party has not purchased the outfit :(
